Bi-Han worried about Kuai Liang facing Shinnok like he did and wanted to protect him, passing on to him secrets to help him survive in case he encountered Shinnok. If it wasn't for Bi-Han, Kuai Liang wouldn't have survived the events of MK4. The MK4 prequel comic even showed part of what Kuai Liang's bio says, and from what was shown and implied on-screen, the two brothers got along really well and Bi-Han was helpful towards his brother.

I needed a good laugh and also this is STILL better than parts of M1K or MK1 or MK12. Whatever they're calling their most recent game.
